These are lighter in colour than Hidcote Lavender, and the plant grows slightly larger. 8" pot size | Dendrocalumus "Thai Black Asper Bamboo"Thai Black Asper Bamboo is probably the best black bamboo to grow in cooler climates such as South East Australia. Its attractive black stalks are streaked with green. However it is the largest black bamboo out and is quite vigorous, so allow it plenty of space. Black Asper Bamboo stands up to cold much better than other black bamboos.
