Bossa nova red is best grown in a sheltered position in bright, dappled light. Perfect under verandahs or hanging under shady trees. It will require a special potting mix and well-drained soil.
| Rhus typhina Staghorn Sumac is a deciduous shrub or small tree in the Cashew family with a wide spreading habit. Green compound leaves turn attractive shades of red, yellow, and orange, in autumn, followed by showy white blooms in spring and summer and red berries making this a tree with year-round interest.
