The bark of the Chinese Elm is a real stand out feature, as the tree sheds it in patches, creating the effect of a tapestry of varying browns and greys. Foliage is lush, shiny and green, and the tree is semi deciduous, turning golden in autumn, and keeping its leaves in warmer areas. It has also been noted by many Aussie gardeners in recent years that native birds enjoy the fruit of the Chinese Elm. | Acacia acinacea Pot o' Gold™
Acacia 'Pot o' Gold™' is a mounding groundcover with delicate weeping branches and tiny little leaves. In the spring it is covered in golden flowers, particularly if planted in a sunny position, putting on a brilliant show.
'Pot o' Gold™' Wattle tolerate frosts, poor soils and coastal conditions, requiring very little maintenance and watering once established. It can be planted along pathways, cascading over retaining walls or feature boulders or kept in a pot.
