A classic houseplant, the Aphelandra squarrosa (aka zebra plant or saffron spike) is native to Brazil. Snow White is pretty much a backwards version of the original Zebra plant with silvery-white glossy leaves with green veins and pretty golden yellow flowers. Place in a position with indirect light, indoors or on a shaded porch, not in full sun or the leaves will burn.
