| Description | Ocimum basilicum ‘Anise’Thai Basil is the cousin of the popular sweet basil. Freshly picked leaves can be added to salads, soups and sandwiches or dried for Winter use. The plant is somewhat smaller than other varieties with smaller leaves. The stems and flowers are purple, making the plants right at home in ornamental gardens. The flowers make beautiful garnishes and look lovely in bouquets. Thai basil is a heat-loving plant and is especially susceptible to frost damage. This variety of basil prefers soil that is lightly moist, slightly acidic, well-drained and rich in organic matter, such as compost. It loves a position in full sun but will tolerate part shade. 4" pot size. | Choisya ternataMexican Orange Blossom is so named as it's flowers are of a similar nature and scent to an orange tree! The foliage is a mid to light green and is covered with masses of scented white flowers through Spring and Summer. This attractive shrub will grow to approx. 1.5 - 2m, but is happy to be clipped to suit. As a result it can be also used as a hedge or screen.
