| Description | Viola odorata
Sweet Violet has mid to dark green ovate foliage that is held in rosettes. The sweet scented, deep purple flowers are also held in rosettes and appear from Autumn to early Spring. Sweet Violet prefers to grow in rich, moist and shaded locations. All soil types are acceptable, but free draining sandy or light soils are preferred and will give ideal results. Open areas under trees are ideal, where they may receive dappled shade and sunlight. Great plant for adding colour to your garden.
4"/10cm pot size. | Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote"
Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall.

Westerland is a rose that produces clusters of copper-orange flowers in large amounts on this climber of manageable vigour all season. The bright foliage is bright shiny green and it is sweetly fragrant.
Available online ONLY - Not in store. | Malus purpurea

A great specimen tree, in Autumn the Purple Crab Apple has dark purple fruit and leaves which turn shades of yellow and red.
13" pot size. |
| Content | | | Roses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renown for their flowers and beauty they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit, the rose hip which can be made into an old fashioned jam or for garden uses such as ground covers and hedging.
Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses right up there with your climbers and weeping varieties, amongst all their beautiful colour, variety and hardy nature there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden. | |
