Description

Rhaphiolepsis indica

Snow Maiden is often referred to as Indian Hawthorn and is a dwarf variety, growing to approx. 75cm tall and 50cm wide. It makes a stunning hedge which is covered in small white flowers with a delicate fragrance in Winter and Spring. It also can be planted as an individual shrub, is an ideal container plant and is a popular choice to Bonsai.

Snow Maiden is a drought, wind, salt and  frost tolerant plant, making it a fabulous addition to your garden with its minimal maintenance and is suited to full sun, through to part shade.

8"/20cm pot size.

Cupressus macrocarpa

Monterey Cypress or Western District Cypress a large evergreen tree conifer which lives long and grows large in perfect conditions. Native to coastal California, it suits coastal conditions and has the unique tendancy to be "sculptured" by the wind over time as it grows. The foliage grows in dense sprays, bright green in color. The leaves are scale-like and produced on rounded shoots. Makes a good windbreak in coastal areas.
Gardenia augusta O So Fine is a great little plant with a finer leaf, it is short in height and bears masses of beautiful snow white flowers. O So Fine is quite a dense Gardenia making it ideal for certain things such as over taking weeds. Prefers a position of full sunlight to partial shade. Is best suited to well-drained, moist soils.
