Gardenia jasminoides 'Star'

Gardenia Grandiflora Star is a stunning variety of gardenia with a slight difference. It's heavily scented white flowers fan out in a star shape with a little yellow centre. This little shrub from Japan only grows to approximately 50cm tall! It requires a moist, slightly acidic soil that drains well. Like many gardenia, it requires shelter from heat (no afternoon summer sun!), frost and dry winds. Gardenia Grandiflora Star flower in late spring - summer. 6″ pot size. Gardenia augusta Professor Pucci is a spectacular variety that is known for producing particularly large, soft, creamy-white flowers. These flowers have a sweet fragrance are seen displayed above its dark green flossy foliage. Professor Pucci is ideal as a garden shrub or potted specimen.
