| Description | Magnolia soulangeanaFelix is a deciduous variety that normally has an erect habit with a short trunk. Its foliage is dark green which turns brown in Autumn. The large flower buds are a deep purple fading to pale pink. Felix is a vigorous grower that has smooth grey/brown bark. It prefers a sunny position with protection from winds and hot afternoon sun.
