Description

Ilex x altaclerensis 'Golden King'

Golden King is just one of several popular varieties of a garden hybrid, it is bred partly from the common English holly, Ilex aquifolium. It’s very hardy and tolerates most soils, as well as seaside air and atmospheric pollution, and fruits well in sun or shade. Its handsome variegated leaves are flat and shapely, free from spines and ornamented with a prominent irregular golden yellow edge. Grow near a male plant for good crops of berries.
Abies fraseri The Fraser fir is a remarkable true fir species native to the Appalachian Mountains in the eastern United States. It's one of the most favoured Christmas tree varieties in both the U.S. and Canada. These trees feature soft, rich green needles that have a striking white underside, along with branches that are sturdy and slightly lifted at the tips. The Fraser fir is an excellent choice for a low-mess Christmas tree because it retains its needles exceptionally well, and its delightful, sweet fragrance remains potent even after weeks of being on display.

Pinus mugo var. pumilio 'Dwarf Mountain Pine'

Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.

Ilex x meserveae 'Blue Prince'

A handsome specimen, background plant or hedge plant, this evergreen shrub has beautiful dark blue-green foliage on blue-purple stems. Also works well at the back of perennial borders or as a privacy screen. An excellent pollenizer for female blue hollies. A very hardy cultivar.
