Description

Acer saccharinum

Also known as Silverleaf Japanese maple, is a fast growing deciduous tree that is one of the most common in North America. It is a tall, broad crowned tree that will develop multiple trunks and is also low branching. The cane-like branches damage easily but grow back quickly. The foliage is graceful and delicate being palmately lobed and veined. In autumn it makes a splendid display as the green foliage turns to a spectacular burnished gold colour. Available online only, not in store

Loropetalum chinense

A dwarf weeping variety of Loropetalum, known as a ground cover reaching 30cm tall x 1.2m wide. It produces the same gorgeous rich burgundy purple foliage with bright pink flowers just in a smaller form! Frost and drought tolerant when established. This will stand out in any garden especially mixed with bright lime green plants and grey foliage or silver plants.

Hybrid tea 'Papa Meilland'

Velvety crimson blooms with a high centre, highly fragrant. Vigorous and upright. Available as a bush rose and 3ft standard. 8" pot size. Available online ONLY - Not in store.
ContentRoses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renown for their flowers and beauty they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit, the rose hip which can be made into an old fashioned jam or for garden uses such as ground covers and hedging. Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses right up there with your climbers and weeping varieties, amongst all their beautiful colour, variety and hardy nature there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden.
