Description

Agapanthus orientalis 'Blue'

Agapathus Tall Blue has long arching strap foliage with tall showy blue flowers that bloom in the Spring and Summer. It is the perfect plant in times of drought and water restrictions. Loves a full sun position, frost tolerant and requires little water once established. Agapanthus plants are the ideal plant for a wide range of garden aspects, great for edging a driveway or fence line. They are hardy, low maintenance plants that are tolerant of drought and poor soil.

Pyrus calleryana 

Bradford Ornamental Pear, a fast growing – thick and glossy, dark green, heart shaped leaves. Autumn colours are reds, oranges, purples and yellows. Clusters of small white flowers in early spring.  Suitable as a feature tree. Pyramid in shape – becomes broad with age. Growth in Melbourne, Victoria –  Height: 6 Meters Width: 6 Meters 100 litre bag - approx 2.5m tall (Please call to confirm height, as heights change often throughout the seasons.)

Acmena smithii 

Native Australian hedging & screening plant. Hardy evergreen with glossy leaves, which are red when young and then turn a dark green. While Neighbours-Be-Gone is our most outstanding Lilly Pilly variety for all purposes, we do recommend Lilly Pilly Acmena Smithii Select when you have particularly poor conditions. It is slower growing but more tolerant of very poor soil.

Hebe speciosa

Hebe Lake is a lovely, compact shrub also known as Veronica Lake, grows to roughly 90cm tall and wide. Dark green, glossy leaves densely cover this plant. Lavender flowers appear in summer. It does best in full sun but appreciates afternoon shade in warm, inland areas. It prefers fertile, well draining soil. Great looking small hedge. Tolerates coastal conditions. 6"/14cm pot

Stachys byzantina (syn. lanata)

Irresistibly soft, furry silver foliage, the 'Lambs Ear' is a must have in every Cottage garden. • Tall purple flowers • Looks great in pots, rockeries, along pathways and mass planted • Tolerates dry soils  6"/14cm pot size.
