Description

Strobilanthes dyerianus

Persian Shield originates in southeast Asia, making it a fantastic plant whether indoors or out. The leaves will lighten up any room with it's bright purple, silver and green mixed tones on each leaves. It requires shade to partial shade, protected from bright sun or the delicate leaves will burn. Rich, moist soil is prefered for best results. Mature growth can reach 1.2m x 1.2m. 10"/25cm Hanging basket.

Boronia megastigma

Brown Boronia is a small shrub that reaches heights of around a meter, and while it can be short lived, it is worth growing for the beautifully perfumed flowers in Spring. The best garden growing conditions are in dappled shade, in moist but well drained soils, and it loves a cool root run, which can be ensured with a good layer of mulch. 6" pot size.
