It is drought hardy and can also tolerate light frost and semi-damp areas and is happy in full sun through to part shade. It will only grow to 30cm but has a spread of approx. 1.5m and is useful for weed suppression. "Cousin It" would also look fabulous, planted in retaining walls, in pots and over rocks. A very easy care plant that does well in a wide range of soil types, and from cold temperate to subtropical areas. The dense foliage will deter weed growth, adding to the low maintenance aspect. Can take some salt, so is good for coastal gardens. Tolerant of dry spells once established, frost tolerant.
