| Description | Prunus x blireanaA small growing ornamental feature tree that blooms in late July/early August with soft pink double blossoms massed over the entire tree. These blossoms are long lasting and are showered in flowers by mid September and are fully in leaf with rich purple red foliage that changes to a bronzy red in mid Summer. Prunus Blireana grows to approx. 4-5m in height and width but with a trim, can be kept much more compact if desired. This hardy and colourful feature tree can be planted singly, in clumps or as an avenue/row. The Pink Plum Blossom is extremely hardy and enjoys almost any soil, is wind hardy, drought hardy and frost and heat tolerant. Prunus Blireana is a great choice when considering a compact, hardy and colourful feature tree! It is a flowering ornamental tree, not a fruiting plum tree. 12"/30cm pot | Buxus Bodinieri "Shaggy Box"Shaggy Box is so named due to its slightly drooping habit which makes for an unusual box hedge. Native to China it is usually found on mountain slopes and forests and as a result, has a high frost tolerance. It will take 10 years to reach 1 metre in height, but definately worth the wait! Shaggy Box is ideal to hedge, can be used as an individual shrub and would look equally good in a pot. The foliage is a light green which adds to its appeal so add one to your collection now. This is a slow growing plant grows to approximately 1m in height. This plant performs best in part shade locations. Great for bonsai.
