| Description | Tulbaghia violacea
A neat, low growing strappy leaved perennial plant in the onion family.
• Little purple flowers appear on tall stems above the foliage
• The leaves can be used in cooking just like chives!
• Gorgeous garden filler, for borders & edging or kept in pots | Magnolia grandiflora 'MGTIG' Greenback®
Greenback® Magnolias are a Magnolia with a difference. Unlike its cousins, this large growing specimen does not have the velvety brown underside on its leaves and instead sports a soft green, hence the name 'Greenback'
Magnolia Greenback®, being one of the largest in the family, make wonderful dense hedging and screening or large shade and feature trees. They tolerate a wide range of conditions including heat, poor soils and some mild coastal conditions. During the warmer months the occasional large, white fragrant Magnolia flower will make an appearance on the tips of the branches.
