| Description | Boronia heterophylla 'Lipstick' A small upright shrub growing to around 2.5 metres tall, it has masses of bright purple-pink bell flowers in winter and spring, which make great cut flowers. The foliage is aromatic and the flowers are lightly perfumed as well. Best in a partly shaded position with well drained soil, also a good potted plant. A rose was named after Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, who stated, "I paint flowers so they will not die". It bears gorgeous multi-coloured petals with scarlet red and gold striped swirls. Its a fantastic modern shrub rose for borders with vigouros growth.
