| Description | Cydonia oblonga Pineapple Quince is an ancient variety that is a vigorous growing tree with extra large foliage, fruit harvests late, and a very nice flavour with a pineapple-like aroma. It is useful for baking, and jams, and makes a terrific quince jelly, and profuse ornamental blossom. These will cook up to a lighter colour than other quinces. 10"/25cm pot size. | Citrus sinensisCara Cara Oranges is a variety of Navel orange with pink flesh. Despite their appearance, their taste is sweet like an orange (not acidic like a grapefruit). Cara Cara Oranges like all oranges, need a warm spot in the garden. 16" pot size. | Acer palmatum dissectum Lionheart is a very vigorous, large-growing variety that is more upright when young and becomes more spreading with age. This cultivar can grow to approximately 3-4 in height and width. Its spring colour is bright red, holding well into Summer before turning bronze or green. Shelter from cold winds and late frosts. Plant in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or partial shade. Lionheart is a stunning deciduous tree that is fairly hard to find. | Quercus Acutissima "Sawtooth Oak"Sawtooth Oak is a medium sized deciduous oak, that typically grows 40-60ft in height with a broad-spreading, rounded crown. It has gray to black bark with insignificant yellowish-green flowers. It produces oblong to lance-shaped, chestnut-like, glossy dark green foliage. Autumn color is variable, ranging from an attractive golden brown to undistinguished pale brown. This low maintenance tree likes a full sunlight position. 12" pot size. | Helleborus hybridIce 'n Roses Merlot is a stunning interspecies hybrid from Germany prized for its spectacular display of large, forward-facing deep burgundy flowers, with a huge central boss of stamens. The flowers are borne on tall stems over a long periods above evergreen foliage. An excellent subject for a patio pot. This variety is bee attracting. Best placed in a full sunlight to partial shade location. Grows to approximately 30cm in height. 7"/18cm pot |
