New foliage is a dull orange rather than red, and as a dwarf variety it doesn't grow much taller than 2ft. Great for a low hedge or border and even in pots. Lilly Pillies grow well in most types of soil, preferring a position of full sunlight or partial shade. They respond well to shaping so are excellent hedges and screens. Hardy, drought and frost tolerant. 16"/40cm pot | Pinus pinea Stone pine from the Mediterranean region is also known as the Umbrella Pine, as it forms a flat-topped tree with a shady canopy, much like an umbrella. It is a pine harvested for its edible pine nuts, and with fire-resistant bark and resin that is used to make turpentine and for medicinal purposes as an antiseptic. They prefer a sandy loam soil that is slightly acidic in a sunny position. | Carpinus betulus fastigiataHornbeam trees are ideal for use as a hedge, screen, or windbreak. They produces attractive leaves that are dark green through the summer and fading to yellow in the fall. They also bear white/cream and grey flowers.
