Port Jackson Fig Tree is a perfect feature tree with an incredible root system. When the climate suits, the plant grows much larger, sending down aerial roots from the tree which, when they reach the ground quickly form roots and become much thicker. They supply nutrients to the fig, allowing it to grow faster than the host tree. The aerial roots gradually encircle the host tree, preventing its main trunk from expanding. Despite the relatively large size of the leaves, it is popular for bonsai.
| Acer palmatum var. dissectum atropurpureum Ever Red is a vigorous weeping Maple with a more horizontal habit. In Spring the fine foliage is purple, with a silvery halo of silken hairs, creating a wonderful contrast. In Autumn the leaves turn bright red before falling. 750 Litre - Large specimen! | ||||||||
