English Elm is an iconic tree that has adapted well into South Eastern Australia. It is usually used as a park, specimen, street or shade tree. Its beautiful yellow Autumn foliage is its notable feature. This tree is best used as a feature tree in a large space. It can also be used as a screen or avenue tree. | Callistemon viminalis
Better John has been bred from popular small callistemon Little John, but with some changes. It is quicker to establish, easier to grow and its foliage colour is better. It has all this while still keeping Little John's excellent small height.
Better John bears foliage that is blue-grey while new growth has silver tones due to its soft hairy texture. Its flowers bloom from mid to late Spring. Best placed in full sun or part shade position. Likes well drained soils.
