Common names: Coralberry, Buckbrush or Indian Currant.
A medium sized, woody deciduous shrub with green ovate leaves and purple/pink berries.
Prefers moist, well drained soil in full sun to part shade. Attracts birds, bees and butterflies. Mature height 1.5m tall x 2.4m wide. The common name, Indian Currant, suggests the berries are edible. However, eating coralberries is not recommended.
