DescriptionElaeocarpus eumundi  Eumundi Quandong is a slow growing, large, evergreen tree noted for its dark green, glossy foliage and tones of bronze-red in new growth. This fine tree produces flowers that are attractive to birds. Grows to a height of approximately 4-8meters. Eumundi Quandong is perfect as a street tree, specimen, hedging or windbreak. It is also known for use in timber production. Best placed in a position of full or partial sunlight.

Syzygium anisatum

Aniseed myrtle is a relative of the Lemon Myrtle with an aniseed and fresh eucalypt flavour. It has edible leaves and are usually consumed fresh or dried and powdered, and were used traditionally as a medicinal tonic. In the wild, it is found natively in the sub-tropical rainforests of eastern Australia. Requires full sun to part shade in a protected area, with well drained fertile soil.  

Nandina Domestica "Blush"

Blush is a medium sized dwarf Nandina that is known for producing red new growth in Spring and Autumn. During Winter its foliage turns vivid red all over. This plant has a height and width of approximately 60cm. Blush loves a locale of full sun to part shade. It tolerates drought and frost plus a range of different soils. Perfect height for fences, borders or hedging. Requires less water once established.

Berberis atropurpurea thunbergii

Japanese barberries are a great addition to any garden, however Helmond Pillar is extra special due to its upright growth. It has beautiful dark rich purple foliage, tiny flowers, followed by red berries and spiny stems. Plant in any well drained soil in sun or shade. It is deciduous. Will provide stunning garden statement when planted near other plants in rich colours like golds and bright greens. Mture growth: 1.5m x 1m wide.
