| Description | Proteaceae (Leucospermum patersonii) Moonlight Leucospermum is a medium sized shrub reaching 2m with spectacular yellow pin cushion flowers in Spring. Plant in well drained, acidic soils in a sunny position. It is drought tolerant but may require water in the first summer of planting and in extremely dry conditions. Arakawa produces rough bark which shows up after several years of growth and becomes quite prominent as the maple ages. This variety is a vigorous grower that is also hardy. It produces a fantastic Autumn colour with foliage turning bright orange and red. Loves a position of full sun or part shade. Can tolerate cold temperates.
