Native to southern China, Thai ginger or Greater Galangal has lovely green lush foliage and produces pretty, upright creamy white flowers from summer, giving your garden a lush tropical feel. It grows very well here in Australia and can handle the cold. Plant in full sun to part shade in well drained moist soil. Can mature to around 1.5-2m tall. The Mexican Cotton Fan Palm is a medium-tall sized palm originating from Mexico. It can reach a mature height of 7m in Victoria's climate. It has large fan like fronds with remnant threads of foliage that appear like ‘cotton’ hanging from between frond segments. It is tough, drought and frost tolerant when established! Cymbaline Rose features alluring, ruffled pale pink- cream blooms from late Spring. Prune and fertilize annually after the flowering season. Remove spent flowers to encourage new growth. Plant in full sun with well-drained soil.
