| Magnolia grandiflora 'Little Gem'
An evergreen beauty with elegance and class, the 'Little Gem' Magnolia is a very popular garden specimen. Hand-sized white and heavily fragrant flowers against a backdrop of robust, dark green foliage make this plant a favourite for hedging and feature planting.
Tolerating poor soils, heat and frost, they are an ideal plant for the Melbourne and rural Victorian garden.
See our Magnolia & Michelia - Evergreen Factsheet here for more about the different Magnolia & Michelia varieties!
For care instructions, features and more, check out Additional Information below | Prunus laurocerasus
Long, large glossy emerald green leaves make that of the Cherry Laurel, a popular plant for formal hedging and screening.
• Strong scented creamy white flowers
• Full sun and shade tolerant
• Grows in almost any soil and tolerates drought and pollution
The Cherry Laurel are also suitable for large or grand pleached hedges with its large, glossy green foliage. It is probably the best plant to be grown in shade or in competition with an existing canopy. Cherry Laurel is very fast-growing, easy to shape and maintain. It is free from pests and diseases and is extremely frost hardy. Another rural property favourite. |
