Description

Syzygium australe 'Select Form' Lilly pilly

Syzygium Australe Select Form is a small Australian native tree with shiny, dark green foliage and bronze-coloured new growth. It bears white flowers which are produced mid-Summer that are then followed by purplish-red berries. Select Form is fast growing while also being hardy and frost tolerant. This small tree is bird attracting and responds well to shaping. Ideal as a hedge or screen plant. 8"/20cm pot size
Tilia cordata  Linden Tree 'Greenspire™' is a medium-sized deciduous tree with a spreading, rounded crown. The dark green foliage is heart-shaped and turns a yellowish green in Autumn before loosing it's leaves. It has fragrant, yellow flowers in Summer, followed by small winged nutlets. This variety is bee and butterfly-attracting. The flowers are also known to be used to make a soothing, fragrant tea. Greenspire has a more upright cylindrical shape, better suited to smaller areas reaching 9m x 3m.

Japanese aralia

Japanese Aralia This gorgeous tropical plant has large, glossy foliage and produces creamy white clusters of flowers in Autumn.

It is also known as Fatsia Japonica and is native to Southern Japan, Korea and Taiwan, although does extremely well in Australia in the right conditions. The Aralia makes a fabulous indoor plant, makes a lovely, lush filler under trees (in an area that is protected from harsh winds and frost), and would also look striking in your al fresco/veranda area. It can grow to approx 5ft ( but not if restricted in a pot) Reasonable watering through the warmer months is really all that is required to have this lovely plant looking fabulous all year round!

8" pot size.
