| Description | Gordonia yunnanensis Silk Screen is an evergreen tree covered in large beautiful foliage. It's new leaves emerge as a rich deep royal red colour. White flowers in winter have showy yellow stamens. Silk Screen is an excellent specimen tree or large screen. Grows best in an open sunny position or partial shade. This plant is suited for most types of soil. Requires moderate watering during it's growing season. | Corylus avellana Halls Giant is a robust and established hazelnut variety known for its large, flavorful nuts, perfect for eating fresh or for roasting and cooking. To ensure successful pollination, consider planting varieties like Barcelona, Cosford, or Wanliss Pride alongside it. Though this tree has both male and female flowers, they don’t always bloom simultaneously, so mixing varieties is beneficial. Choose a sunny spot with well-drained, well-prepared soil for the best growth. Make sure to plant the bud union above the soil line. Water thoroughly and keep the soil moist until the tree is well-established. When planting, fertilise and then again once you see new growth.
