The purple red brushes appear later in the season than other varieties. Excellent as a low hedge. Summer Days is a beautifully shaped tree and suitable for a wide range of soils, and will grow well in part shade to full sun. Excellent as a narrow screen or small hedge due to it’s naturally compact growth habit. Callistemon flowers provide valuable food for birds, insects and small mammals. Mature growth 1x1m | Callistemon salignusCallistemon Great Balls of Fire has a dense compact habit and intense red hues on it's new growth. It grows to a height of around 1.75m and has a similar sized spread. This variety makes an ideal hedge. Great Balls of Fire is a fantastic plant due to it's extreme resilience to a wide variety of climatic conditions, being easy to grow and being low maintenance.
