DescriptionAcer palmatum  Green Hornet is a fine, deeply green leaved variety which displays some reddish hues in Summer. The petioles of the Green Hornet tend to turn reddish to deep purple which give this Japanese Maple an unusual and nice appearance. This variety forms a cascading mushroom shaped mound, growing to approximately 8 feet in height at maturity, with a spread of 10 feet. Green Hornet is great for screening, containers/pots, mass planting and as a feature tree. This deciduous beauty is best placed in full or partial sunlight, performs well in most climates. 20"/50cm pot size.
