Description

Adiantum hispidulum var. whitei

Graceful yet hardy, Adiantum hispidulum var. whitei, commonly known as the Rough Maidenhair Fern, brings texture and soft greenery to shaded gardens or indoor spaces. Unlike more delicate maidenhairs, this variety features slightly rough-textured fronds with bronzy new growth that matures to deep green, adding dynamic colour contrast and resilience.
  • Elegant, finely divided fronds with a slightly coarse texture
  • New foliage emerges bronze to pink, maturing to rich green
  • More tolerant of dry spells than other maidenhair ferns
