Thymus serpyllum

Pink Chintz thyme, is a low growing, ground covering perennial. It has all the same characteristics of Mother of Thyme, and is often called the same, only it has a paler pink flower. A hardy evergreen that once established, is quite drought resistant. It loves full sun in well drained soil. Water regularly until established. It's ground covering nature makes it a great ornamental plant, and people use it between paving and stepping stones, and in walkways. It's hardiness makes it great underfoot! It's also a great addition to any rock garden. This variety of thyme has a strong oregano type scent, and can be used in cooking in all the same ways as other thyme varieties. 6''/14cm pot
