Description

Michelia x Fairy Blush

Fairy Blush magnolias are a new breed of evergreen magnolias that feature lovely fragrant pink flowers and glossy deep green leaves. These evergreen magnolias are perfect on their own as feature trees in the garden, but also make great flowering screens or tall hedges. They will grow to roughly 3m tall in the first 10 years but can be shaped and pruned to keep them shorter. Plant them at 1 per metre for a screen or hedge. Ideally they should be planted in a sheltered spot with full to partial sunlight and moist but well draining soil.
7"/18cm pot size.
Sedum 'Silver blob' stonecrop A fast growing, mat forming coloured succulent with compact tiny silver and purple succulent rosettes clinching the ground. Stars of bright yellow flowers cover the tops of this plant late in summer. It’s one of the hardiest, low maintenance and easy to grow succulents. A perfect answer for filling small spaces while adding texture and colour to your garden area. The sprawling nature of its stems makes it ideal for growing in rockery pockets, wall crevices, between boulders as an ornamental in gravel gardens or for dry garden landscaping. It can be planted in a container either on its own or mixed with other succulents. 6''/14cm pot

Agapanthus orientalis 'Black Magic'

Black Magic is a stunning Agapanthus featuring umbrellas of drooping deep purple buds opening to dark purple flowers over the Summer months. The dark green foliage from which the stems emerge provides a contrasting backdrop. Agapanthus plants are the perfect plant for a wide range of garden aspects, great for edging a driveway or fence line. They are hardy, low maintenance plants that are tolerant of drought and poor soil. Producing an abundance of bright purple, blue and white flowers, makes them a beloved addition to many gardens. 6'' pot size.

Sarcococca confusa

Sweet Box is a bushy evergreen with glossy leaves that is perfect for medium to low hedges but not as well known and used as it should be. During Winter, fine and delicate, sweetly scented, creamy flowers appear followed by shiny black berries. Sweet Box has shiny, deep green, foliage and this variety usually only grows to a maximum height of around 4ft. Unless you want a tightly clipped formal hedge or border, it needs very little trimming. Sweet Box likes a position of both full sunlight and part shade in a sheltered location. If your hedge travels under a shady spot, try Sweet Box - it is quite happy in shade! It should be ideally planted in moist, well draining soil. 8''/20cm pot

Carex buchananii

Leatherleaf Sedge or Buchanan's Sedge is an evergreen sedge native to New Zealand with fine, narrow upright copper bronze leaves. Best in well drained soils, in full sun to part shade, perfect for mass planting and drought hardy areas. Mature growth 30-60cm hxw. 6"/14cm pot
