DescriptionSalvia hybrid

Salvia with striking spikes of smoky blue-purple flowers, blooming from spring through to late autumn. Delightfully fragrant, its blue-green foliage is well-branched, forming a lush mound of greenery beneath the blooms. It can be pruned back during the growing season to encourage fresh growth. Azurea thrives in well-drained soil, especially over winter, and is tolerant of frost. As a perennial, it’s an excellent choice for water-wise gardens and challenging areas, while also attracting birds and bees.

Nasturtium officinale

Watercress is an aquatic or semi aquatic herbaceous perennial plant, native to Europe and Asia. This plants botanical name would suggest that it is related to the flower called nasturtiums, but it's actually more closely related to mustard and radish plants. It is one of the oldest known leaf vegetables to be consumed by humans, and not surprising when you look at its nutritional value. This little leafy plant is packed full of iron, calcium, iodine, folic acid, and vitamins A and C. It is also said to have cancer suppressing properties. Watercress has many uses in the kitchen, it can be tossed in salads, put in sandwiches and used as a garnish for a wide range of dishes. Why not throw in a pinch into the blender next time you're making your favourite green smoothie! To grow watercress you need to grow it in full sun to part shade, in moist soil. It requires regular watering and is perfect for growing in pots. 4" pot size.
