It prefers soil with higher amounts of moisture and loves low wet ground. Evergreen Alder is great as it can be shaped as well as used as a windbreak. Grows to around 6 meters in height. It produces interesting flowers that can be pink, bright red and magenta, these bloom during Spring. This evergreen displays foliage that is narrow, short and quite stiff. Moss Phlox is reliable and requires low-maintenance. Ideal for use on dry banks and creating appealing cascades over walls and the like. Requires a position of full sunlight.
