Ficus pumila

Strong, evergreen climber that suits a beautiful Formal, Hampton or Modern garden. • Rounded, green foliage with yellow-pink new growth • Covers walls and fences without the need of any trellis or wiring • Tolerates hot, dry conditions, full sun and shade 6"/14cm pot size.

Allium tuberosum

Garlic chives are not mentioned in many of the old western herbals, but have been used in Asian cuisine for centuries. Like normal Chives, the are a hardy herbaceous perennial. The only differences being they have a mild garlic and onion flavour, and small white starry like flowers. They are great in pots or in the ground, preferring full sun to part shade. They can grow up to 50cm tall, and splitting the plant every few years will help ensure the plants survival. When harvesting, cut the leaves near to the ground, as it's better for the plant. Garlic chives are great used in salads, stirfrys, rice, and as a garnish for curries, soups, and potatoes. They will keep in the fridge for up to a week. Alternatively you can preserve them in butters, oils and vinaigrettes. 4"/10cm pot size.

Poa labillardieri

Poa labillardieri is a aesthetic dense grass with long, slender, soft, greyish-green leaves. Prefers a moist well drained soil and grows best in a position of partial shade but can tolerate full sun. Tussock Grass is tolerant of moderate salt winds. This plant is good for landscaping or food for grazing animals.

Magnolia grandiflora 'Little Gem'

An evergreen beauty with stunning dense foliage, it has dark glossy green leaves with a soft brown velvet underside and, being evergreen, makes it ideal for screening.

The Little Gem produces beautiful creamy-white flowers through Summer and Autumn that are heavily scented.

Little Gem Magnolia's are very hardy and tolerate mild frost once established. They ideally like full sun to part shade.

Box Leaved Privet loves hot sunny positions (they don’t do well in a shady corner) and almost any soil as long as it is moderately well drained.
