Description

Citrus japonica 'Marumi'

Marumi Cumquat is a cold hardy, attractive evergreen tree used for its produce or as an ornamental plant. It produces masses of creamy-white, fragrant flowers followed by a sweetly flavoured, small, golden coloured orange round fruit. The fruit arrives in late autumn to winter and can be eaten straight from the tree or preserved for jams. The skin and flesh have a more tender rind with a sweet-tart flavour making it the preferred fresh-eating cumquat.
Chop Suey Greens 'Shungiku' - Glebionis coronaria Easy to grow, interesting and nutritious, shungiku adds variety and unusual flavours to your food. It comes originally from the Mediterranean, parts of Europe and northern Asia, but is now widely grown and naturalised in the cooler highland tropical regions of South-East Asia, China and Japan. Botanically it used to be called Chrysanthemum coronarium but is now Glebionis coronaria. This edible chrysanthemum is an annual that grows initially from a single, tender, round stalk with finely-cut, green leaves. If not harvested, the plants will grow to 1m and develop daisy-like yellow flowers over a long period. The flowers are golden yellow in the centre and the pale creamy yellow on the outside. There are several cultivars that vary in leaf shape and size. 4" Pot size

Daphne x transatlantica

Spring Pink Eternal Fragrance is the sister to the award-winning 'Eternal Fragrance'. Direct from the same long term breeding program. It is noted for its rich pink flowers. Spring Pink Eternal Fragrance bursts into bloom with tight clusters of pink flowers at the tips of its deep green foliage. As the flowers age, they gradually fade to white. This variety will also continue to spot flower throughout the year, but with less intensity in its pink flower colour. It is frost hardy and drought tolerant. Great for container planting. Grows to approximately 60cm in height

Banksia integrifolia

Banksia integrifolia or ‘Coastal Banksia’ is a hardy native found down the Eastern coastline of Australia. Often seen in windswept and sculptural shapes along beach fronts, when placed in a less hostile environment, they can become quite beautiful, bushy specimen plants. They grow anywhere between 4m - 10m and 1m - 5m wide, depending on their environment. During autumn and winter their yellow flowers form into large cones, rich with nectar. These stunning flowers attract lots of bird life, particularly cockatoos and honey-eaters. Coastal Banksia is a slow grower and can handle a wide range of soil types. 10" pot size.
