This Australian Native is also known as the Weeping Lilly Pilly due to its slightly drooping habit, which is visually very attractive. It is often used as a hedge/screen and responds well to pruning. Although often used as a hedge, it can also be planted as an evergreen tree.
The height is often determined by the conditions, but untrimmed will reach at least 8m. It can easily grow in many soil types, is frost tolerant and also copes well with damp soils. It is fast growing and has a lovely, lush, compact foliage with the new growth a pink/rust colour adding contrast.
8"/20cm pot size
We source our Waterhousia from Northern NSW as they have a warmer climate offering larger and bushier plants than those sourced locally, giving our customer better value for money. You may notice that the plants have some cosmetic psyllium damage that resemble bumps or blisters on some of the leaves. Rest assured our grower has sprayed the plants and there are no live psyllids remaining on them. Weeping Lilly Pillys are a popular choice with minimal berries and a lovely weeping evergreen habit, we know you will enjoy these plants . However if the cosmetic damage is something you are concerned about we can look to provide you alternative species that may also be of interest. | Citrus fortunella margarita x japonica 'Meiwa' (Dwarf Meiwa Cumquat)
Meiwa Cumquat is closest to the Marumi cumquat, known for being the sweetest cumquat around, it can be eaten fresh, preserved, candied or made into marmalade. It produces bright colored round to oval shaped sweet fruits with an edible rind & flesh with soft seeds in the interior. Being a dwarf variety, gradual height will be between 1-2m tall. It is Self-pollinating.
5 litre | Bursaria spinosa
A lovely white flowering shrub usually about 3 to 4m tall which produces flowers throughout Summer. The flowers are lightly fragrant, making this shrub a lovely feature plant, and it’s extremely hardy making it a good choice for garden and landscape use. Low maintenance and fast-growing, it performs best in well drained soil. Ideal for attracting wildlife.
6''/14cm pot | Acer palmatum
Shidava Gold is a wonderful dwarf variety that displays bright green foliage and stems making this a pleasing addition to any garden or landscape. Its leaves turn golden yellow during Autumn.
Shidava Gold likes both full sun and part shade. Grows to a height of around 4-5ft tall with an upright habit. The intensely green bark adds a striking contrast during the colder parts of the year. | Wisteria floribunda 'Alba'
Japanese White Wisteria or Wisteria floribunda 'Alba' produce very long drooping flowers in the spring upon a lush, leafy green background. The flowers are highly fragrant and are much longer than the Chinese varieties, reaching a lengthy 60cm long!
Wisteria floribunda are a very hardy, fast growing climber, tolerating most soil conditions and positions. They flower best in a full sun position and benefit from a good, hard prune in the winter to maintain shape.
