Description

Lagerstroemia indica x fauriei

Tuscarora is one of the best of the dark fuchsia-pink flowering Lagerstroemia's. The flowers and highly ornamental bark make this tough small tree a useful specimen or screening tree. Crepe Myrtles are adaptable to a range of conditions, heat and some dryness but requires adequate moisture during establishment. So can also be used well as a street tree. Mature growth: 6m x 4m wide. 16"/40cm pot - Bush form, should not exceed 3-4m tall.

Prunus serrulata 'Cheals'

'Cheals' Weeping Cherry bloom double petal pink blossoms which absolutely cover the bare, loosely hanging branches, and hold until the leaves emerge. Bronze new growth mature to green in summer and when autumn comes around the tree is awash with autumnal colour. Best used as a feature in a large pot or in the garden and kept out of the wind so as to retain the blossoms and autumn leaves for longer. Weeping cherry's don't like soggy roots so plant in well draining soil or in a mound above the soil line to assist with drainage. See our Prunus - Ornamental Blossom Factsheet here for more about the different cherry and plum blossom varieties!
