Description

Laurus nobilis

This Bay tree offers a more compact form and grows slightly smaller than the traditional Bay Tree to around 7m tall. It produces glossy dark green foliage. Leaves are fragrant and can be used in cooking. It's a large hardy, drought and salt tolerant tree. 'Miles Choice' is a more compact variety of the Bay Laurel. Produces yellow flowers which occur between September to October. 6''/14cm pot

Felicia amelloides

Blue Marguerite is eye catching wherever it is planted, with its striking sky-blue and sunny yellow flowerheads, which stand well above the leaves. Apart from its beauty, this plant has many advantages. It is hardy, fast growing, long-flowering and long-lived, more or less frost and wind-resistant, needing only moderate water and little care. As blue is a difficult colour to get into a garden, this is definitely a plant that will draw attention. 4"/10cm pot size

Hydrangea macrophylla

'Deep Purple' Hydrangea performs best in a part shade position sheltered from the hot sun and wind with rich, porous, moist soil. They flower with gorgeous deep purple large blooms! Deadhead and prune to shape after flowering, Hydrangeas can be cut back quite hard if need be. Feed with an organic slow-release fertiliser in late spring. 8''/20cm pot

Prunus var. nucipersica 'Peacherine'

Deciduous, fruiting tree has lance-shaped, dark green leaves with massed clusters of small, fragrant pink flowers in Spring followed by large edible sweet and juicy yellow fleshed fruit in Summer. This slightly fuzzy reddish/yellow skinned fruit is a cross between a peach and a nectarine. Ideal for full sun in gardens, as a feature, edging or in large pots. It can be eaten fresh or cooked. It is self-pollinating and attracts bees. 10'' pot

Hydrangea macrophylla

Macrophylla perform best in a part shade position sheltered form the hot sun and wind with a rich, porous, moist soil. Dead head and prune to shape after flowering, Hydrangeas can be cut back quite hard if need be. Feed with an organic slow release fertiliser in late spring. White varieties do not change colour, no matter the pH.
Olea europeana  Dwarf Olive Garden Harvest is a self-pollinating variety producing medium sized fruits that are suitable for both table and oil use. Olive trees are attractive evergreen shrubs or small trees with silver-grey foliage. They are also ideal for screening and hedges or feature plants. Requires a position in full sun, and can tolerate many soil conditions, droughts and frosts when established.

Laurus nobilis 'Miles Choice' Bay Tree

An effective hedging/screening plant that can be kept clipped from 1-4 metres, or left to grow into a medium sized tree. Its dark green leaves provide an ideal backdrop for other plants. An excellent plant for topiary and is well suited to formal gardens. Its dried leaves are used in cooking and so it is an essential plant in any kitchen garden. Prefers a moist well drained soil in a sunny to partly shaded position. For best results fertilise with a long term slow release fertilizer in early Spring, and prune to shape when required.
