Description

Magnolia grandiflora 'Little Gem'

An evergreen beauty with elegance and class, the 'Little Gem' Magnolia is a very popular garden specimen. Hand-sized white and heavily fragrant flowers against a backdrop of  robust, dark green foliage make this plant a favourite for hedging and feature planting. Tolerating poor soils, heat and frost, they are an ideal plant for the Melbourne and rural Victorian garden. See our Magnolia & Michelia - Evergreen Factsheet here for more about the different Magnolia Michelia varieties!

Camellia japonica

Japonica varieties of Camellia are better suited to shaded locations so that their foliage does not burn. They will be fine in the morning sun, but not the hot afternoon sun, and protect from high winds. Midnight Camellia has dark green, glossy, evergreen foliage and from early winter to spring it will show gorgeous blooms of red flowers. Upright growth, perfect for screens and hedging, formal gardens, pot plants and more. Water and mulch well. 6"/14cm pot
