A fabulous frost hardy and drought tolerant hybrid is a mix between the mexican Sage (S. leucantha) and the pineapple Sage (S. elegans) it makes a large, handsome foliaged, shrubby plant with a grand display of rich deep violet blue flowers through autumn into winter.
