Why buy a Yulan Magnolia?

[one_half] [/one_half] [one_half_last] Magnolia denudata, also called Yulan Magnolia or Lily Tree, was probably the first magnolia cultivated around 4,000 years ago. Beloved for its pure white, elegant flowers, it was regarded as early as 650 AD by Buddhist monks as a symbol of purity, and its exquisitely fragrant flowers were considered a gift worthy of an emperor. Yulan Magnolias have an upright growing habit with a short trunk. For best results prune after flowering. [/one_half_last]
