Description

Hot & Spicy Oregano

Another member of the oregano family. This plant is a hardy herbaceous perennial, that can grow up to 75cm tall. It produces little pale pink flowers that are loved by bees and butterflies. It loves the sun, midday sun is preferred and prefers well drained, sandy soil. Average amounts of watering are required. It has a a stronger more pungent flavour than other oregano plants. It has been said that the flavours are like a blend of oregano with a mildly spicy chilli. The leaves of this plant can be used fresh or dried, and are a great addition to Mexican dishes, or dishes that have chilli in them. You can also freeze the leaves to preserve them, try freezing them in water in ice cube trays. To use, defrost and let the water drain away, and pat dry with some paper towel. Oregano "hot & spicy" herb plant has oils that were used by ancient Greeks and Egyptians as a body scent after baths. It was also used as a disinfectant and food preservative. 4" pot size.

Gaura lindheimeri "Butterfly Bush"

Butterfly Bush is a bushy, hardy perennial shrub with long graceful stems that bloom with pale pink flowers in spring-summer. These stems grow up to 1m long, but can be clipped back shorter, and sway gracefully in the breeze. The name of a popular variety, Whirling Butterflies, perfectly describes the way the plant resembles a cloud of butterflies when swaying in the breeze. 6" pot size.
Vaccinium corymbosum Northland blueberry is a half-high bush variety, with larger-sized fruit. Grows best in a sunny but protected position with some shade from the hottest afternoon sun during summer. Needs acidic soil, best grown in pots. Acer palmatum var. dissectum atropurpureum 'Ever Red'

Ever Red is a vigorous weeping Maple with a more horizontal habit. In Spring the fine foliage is purple, with a silvery halo of silken hairs, creating a wonderful contrast. In Autumn the leaves turn bright red before falling.
Cercis canadensis  The Cercis canadensis 'Little Woody,' often referred to as the Canadian Redbud, is the smallest variety of its kind. It reaches a height and spread of up to 2 meters, making it a fantastic choice for adding greenery to compact spaces like small gardens, terraces, or balconies. Its distinctive flared shape adds charm to any landscape. In the spring, this plant truly comes alive with an abundance of small pink-violet flowers that bloom in clusters along the bare branches and trunk. Developed through American breeding, the 'Little Woody' is exceptionally resilient, able to tolerate a range of temperatures. 8"/20cm pot For care instructions and additional information, click here!
