| Description | Grevillea lanigera
Mt Tamboritha is a thick, dense, ground-covering Grevillea that has a spread of around 1-2m and a height of 40cm. It bears narrow foliage that is grey-green, and these leaves have small fine hairs which give off a soft look. This plant produces flowers in clusters that are a vivid red or pinkish-cream colour.
Grevilleas are very hardy plants that thrive in a sunny position and well drained soil. It is frost, drought, coastal and part shade tolerant. Pruning will maintain its shape. Perfect for use in rockeries.
